Mrs. Sarah Grosz

Sarah Grosz, 78, of Lenox, died on March 1, 2022 after a brief illness. She was born on September 16, 1943 in Queens, NY., to the late Luke and Anita Taglino Rajkovich. She attended Leviton High School on Long Island and was a 1961 graduate. After high school, she attended State University at Farmingdale Long Island, NY where she earned her Associate's Degree in Advertising, Art, and Design. She worked at McCann Advertising and went to the World's Fair Queens, NY., working for the Director of RCA. She owned and operated Sunflowers Natural Health Food Store in Lee, MA., for 12 years. Sarah was very active in many organizations. She was on the Board for "Why Me", active in many of her church functions, she led the Women's Prayer Team, a visionary who counseled many women, and at her own Christian Book Store, she helped start the Calvary Chapel in Pittsfield. She also loved Classical and Opera Music, was a very talented artist who created jewerly and enjoyed painting. She was also an advanced swimmer, creative cook, was a hiker and enjoyed kayaking. Sarah had a zest for life and a heart for adventure. Travelling to 17 Caribbean Islands, Europe, Israel, South America, Alaska, and 38 States. Mrs. Grosz married Robert Grosz on October 1, 1966 on Garden City Long Island. Together they raised their 3 sons. Besides her husband Robert of Lenox, MA., she is survived by her sons; Robert Grosz Jr., Jason Grosz, and Jeremy Grosz (Monique), 7 grandchildren; Robert, Cassidy, Elizabeth, AJ, Nicholas, Sasha, and Dakota, 1 great grandchild; Luke, 2 sisters; Kathryn Striano, and Georgette Burrell (William). Besides her parents, Sarah is pre-deceased by her brother-in-law, Guido. A celebration of Life will be held on May 14, 2022 at 11:00am at Trinity Church Annex Building in Lenox. In lieu of flowers, donations in Sarah's memory may be made to His Place Ministries Lee Bank 501C3 for people in need in our area and overseas.
