General Services
The goods and services listed are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the item you desire, (However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead). If legal or other requirements mean you must buy items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected.
Basic Services of Funeral Director and Staff
Our basic services of funeral director and staff include, but are not limited to, staff to respond to initial request for service; arrangement conference with family and responsible parties; arrangement of funeral; preparation and filing of necessary authorizations and permits; recording vital statistics; preparation and placement of obituary notice; and coordination with those providing other portions of the funeral, e.g., cemetery, crematory, vault companies and others as required. Also included in this service are overhead expenses relative to our facilities such as professional licensing, legal and accounting fees, insurance, building and utility expenses, parking lot and grounds, maintenance, taxes, equipment, furnishings, inventory costs, recordkeeping, and secretarial and administrative expenses.
Embalming
Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as a direct cremation or immediate burial.

Funeral Options
This service includes basic sanitary preparation, hair dressing, make up, dressing and casketing.
Funeral options include: the use of our funeral home for viewing and visitation, visitation the morning of the funeral, visitation at another facility, the funeral service at our funeral home, the funeral service at another facility, the memorial service at our funeral home, and the memorial service at another facility.

This service includes transporting deceased from place of death to funeral home.
Automotive Equipment
Automotive options include a hearse on the day of funeral, a limousine, a flower wagon, a lead-clergy car, and delivery to the local cemetery or crematory.
Merchandise Options Offered
Merchandise options include acknowledgement cards, register book, prayer cards, rosary beads, crucifix or plain cross, religious candles, religious head coverings, clothing, (suits and dresses) and undergarments, (men and women full sets).
Receiving Remains From Another Funeral Home
Forwarding Remains From Another Funeral Home
This service includes transportation from place of death to funeral home, embalming, necessary staff services, securing required paperwork, air-try enclosure approved by airlines, transporting deceased to local airport (Albany or Hartford). This service does not include hair dressing, cosmetology, dressing, use of funeral home or funeral home staff for any ceremony or visitation, private or public, prior to burial.
Direct Burial
This service includes transporting of deceased from place of death to funeral home, embalming, necessary staff services, securing required paperwork, delivery to local cemetery, necessary preparation, casketing, dressing, and basic use of funeral home. More Options:
Direct Burial with casket provided by purchaser (this option includes all the above plus pick up and delivery by funeral home of casket provided by family)

Direct Cremation
This service includes necessary paperwork, transportation from place of death to funeral home and from funeral home to crematory, basic staff services and sheltering deceased during mandatory 48 hour waiting period. This service does not include the Crematory or Medical Examiner Fees, cost of cremation container or use of funeral home and funeral home staff for any ceremony or visitation, public or private, prior to cremation. When a direct cremation is arranged, crematory requires that the body be enclosed in a suitable, combustible container. The containers provided by us are of a corrugated composition material with a ply-wood bottom. This is also referred to as an "alternative container". Alternative containers can also be made of fiber board or solid pine wood construction.
